Dream Big With Motivational Talks By Joseph Calleja And Other Top Local Success Stories
Top dogs of EC, Corinthia & Foster Clarks to give speeches to young people
Need a bit of inspiration before taking the next big plunge? Dream Big could be the event you've been waiting for.
An impressive list of top local success stories will be seeking to motivate hundreds of young people in Malta at an event being organised by EC English Language Centres.
Internationally-acclaimed tenor Joseph Calleja will be joined by the likes of Corinthia Group chief Alfred Pisani, adventurer Douglas Barbaro Sant and EC's executive chairman Andrew Mangion in a half-day seminar.
"We have invited visionaries in their fields, those who have paved their own way, challenged traditions, and ultimately succeeded beyond the island’s shores, to pass their message onto the young citizens of Malta and encourage them to think with a global perspective."
"Our expert panels will interact with key stakeholders from differing backgrounds, to encourage discussion and to create a conversation, inspiring the audience to dream bigger and reach beyond our shores.
The event will be held at the Westin Dragonara, on September 1st.
Panelists include Foster Clarks managing director Joseph Busuttil, ultimate athlete Nathan Farrugia, soprano Miriam Gauci, paralympian-in-training Oliver Mangion, interior designer Francis Sultana, and founder of The Rug Company Suzanne Sharp.
Attendance is free. You just have to register. But you must be aged 16-30 and have big dreams of achieving international success to be eligible. There are only 450 places, so don't leave it too late.
And now, for the best part....
WIN An Internship Of A Lifetime!
EC is looking to give one lucky attendee an amazing two-month internship at any of the group's 21 schools around the world, including Cape Town, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Washington, Toronto, London, Oxford and Cambridge, among others.
Attendees must share their future success stories by either uploading a video of themselves addressing the delegates of Dream Big talking of their achievements or by writing a newspaper headline and short press release about their rise to fame.
So picture yourself at the peak of your international success and tell EC what it would look like. Then grab life by the balls and make it happen!
