Kirkop School Brings Friżella to Life With Magical Frozen-Inspired Panto
It’s pantomime season once again at St Benedict College in Kirkop, and this year’s production is shaping up to be one of the school’s most magical yet.
Benedittu Productions is back with “Friżella,” a playful, Maltese twist on Disney’s beloved Frozen films, brought to life by teachers, students, staff and alumni who have been working on the show since the start of summer.
By October, the school was already buzzing with rehearsals, costume fittings, music recordings and stage-building, turning the entire campus into a hive of creativity. The pantomime has become a yearly tradition that goes far beyond the stage, offering students and staff a chance to collaborate, learn new skills and create something unforgettable together.

Like every Benedittu Productions show, Friżella also carries a strong charitable mission. Over the years, the group has raised thousands of euro for organisations such as Hospice Malta, Puttinu Cares, Dar Bjorn and Multiple Sclerosis Malta. This year, part of the proceeds will go towards the Ursuline Sisters and their community work, while another portion will be invested into updating the school hall’s equipment to support future productions.
All six morning performances for schools are already fully booked, while the public can catch the pantomime on the 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st of December. Tickets are selling quickly and are available on ticketline.com.mt.
With a dedicated cast and crew promising plenty of laughter, music and festive cheer, Friżella is set to be the perfect family outing to kick off the Christmas season.
