Watch: Prime Minister’s Daughter Giorgia Mae Asks For Christmas Presents For Children In Need

Giorgia Mae Abela, the daughter of Prime Minister Robert Abela, has launched the fourth edition of a Christmas initiative where people can donate presents to children in need.
Standing near a Christmas tree that has been erected in front of Castille, Giorgia Mae said it would look even prettier surrounded by presents.
“Mummy and Daddy are once again launching the Rigal bi Mħabba initiative to make sure everyone will receive a present this Christmas,” she said.
People can donate a present by visiting the Castille Christmas Tree from 12th to 21st December.
Her mother Lydia Abela said she never expected Rigal bi Mħabba to turn into an annual event when it was first launched back in 2020 but that it has turned into one of her favourite projects.
“It puts a genuine smile on the face of every child in Malta,” she said. “It’s an initiative that leaves no child behind. Thousands of families and businesses participated in previous editions and I’m sure that this year’s edition will see similar levels of participation and activism. Initiatives like this show how the people of Malta truly care about social values.”
