Reflecting on their win, founder Cheryl Lofreda expressed her gratitude for the high level of competition and praised the invaluable feedback received from the judges.
“The level of this competition is really high, especially Berlin. The feedback from the judges was great!” Lofreda told Lovin Malta.
Cheryl also had a heartfelt message to fellow Maltese artists following the victory.
“To all the Maltese artists, remember that being Maltese doesn’t make you less professional or talented than internationals,” the founder said.
“We are all humans at the end of the day, so if you set your mind to it, you will eventually progress. Believe in yourself and in your art, keep learning, keep experimenting, keep growing. We should be appreciated more in our very own country,” Lofreda added.
This victory marks another milestone for the MVMT, following their previous victory at the 2019 World of Dance competition in Switzerland.
Well done!
