NOMINATE: A Local Hero Who Deserves Some Pampering At Malta’s New Eco-Spa
If you can’t see the nomination form on your mobile, you can access it here.
The stress of day-to-day life can sometimes be too much for all of us to bear. But at least we can take comfort in our friends, family and people who help lighten the load through their kindness and generosity.
Lovin Malta would like to celebrate the awesome people who make our lives better on a daily basis. We’re calling them our Local Heroes. They could be mums and dads who cook food for us every day, teachers who inspire us, even neighbours who stand outside our house to save our parking space.
Nominate someone who you think deserves some quality-pampering time. All you have to do is fill in the form at the end of this article with their name and a short description on how they improve life in general. #payitforward
What they’ll win:
The chosen Local Hero will win a 35-minute Swedish Massage aimed at achieving total relaxation. It covers back, neck and shoulders using natural massage oils. The winner can even add an essential oil blend to their massage from Sanya’s varied range.
What is Sanya?
Sanya is a new centre in Naxxar which offers a range of services geared at providing relaxation, detox and rejuvenation. Its gorgeous spa area has an indoor heated pool, jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and chrome thermal showers, whilst its clinic offers massage and beauty treatments, all based on the natural products created by local entrepreneur Charlene Mercieca of Soap Cafe.
The centre also has a natural doctor (naturopath) and psychologist. There’s a yoga and pilates hub with a minimum of 3 classes a day, Monday through Friday, with over 8 different teachers and styles.
It’s also home to Malta’s first 100% organic juice bar, serving a range of drinks but also some raw snacks and dishes. The coffee is all artisanal, eco-friendly and shade grown sourced from another local entrepreneur, Steve Alamango from Kefa Kafe.
