21-Year-Old From Santa Luċija Charged With Possession Of 120 Sachets Of Cocaine, Heroin And Cannabis
A 21-year-old man from Santa Luċija has been charged with the possession of 120 sachets containing cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, with the intent to sell them.
Earlier today, Lean Mizzi pleaded not guilty in court to the possession of the substances under circumstances suggesting that the drugs were not intended for personal use and relapsing.
According to Police Inspectors Anthony Mercieca and John Leigh Howard, a tip-off led to Mizzi’s arrest. They informed the court of a current trend where drug traffickers use young people to distribute drugs, stating, “we found 120 sachets, which meant he was going to sell to 120 people.”
Mizzi was denied bail.
