Daphne Caruana Galizia Case Re-Opens Today With Europol Experts Expected To Testify

The Daphne Caruana Galizaia murder case will reopen today with Europol experts expected to take the witness stand.
Experts will testify in the compilation of evidence against business tycoon Yorgen Fenech following a decision by the Court of Criminal Appeal last October which noted that numerous experts set to testify during the trial did not do so in the compilation of evidence.
Two police officers, a former police inspector, and two foreign experts are expected to testify in the proceedings. The testimony is expected to relate to Keith Schembri.
Deputy Attorney General Philip Galea Farrugia is prosecuting. Lawyers Gianluca Caruana Curran, Charles Mercieca, and Marion Camilleri are Fenech’s defence counsel.
