A 39-year-old man was handed a two-year probation after admitting to harassing his wife and daughter.

It came after a report was filed to the police and the suspect was arrested and arraigned in court this afternoon.

The prosecution told the court that the man never displayed violence to the victims, but on request of the minor daughter, was handed a protection order.

The court handed the probation sentence and a protection order in favour of the mother and minor.
