Man Arrested With Two Kilos Of Suspected Heroin In Luqa Residence
A 31-year-old man was arrested with two kilos of suspected heroin and half a kilo of suspected cocaine found at his home in Ħal Luqa.
The arrest happened this morning at 6.30 after police investigations into drug trafficking led to the spotting of the man in the vicinities of Marsa.
A subsequent search of his vehicle yielded a number of drug sachets ready to be sold, as well as three mobile phones.
The police then went to search his residence and found a significant amount of narcotics which had a street value of around €130,000.
The man is being kept under arrest and is expected to face charges in the coming days.
Police investigations are currently ongoing.
