All You Need To Know About Kirkop Summer Fest 2024
Known in recent years for The 80s & 90s Music Festival, the Kirkop Summer Fest is the seventh festival organised by K Music Events.
This year, the organisers have planned a larger-than-usual event, spanning two days for the first time, on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August.
As in previous years, the Kirkop Summer Fest is expected to draw hundreds of music lovers to the village of Ħal Kirkop, where they can enjoy the event free of charge. To accommodate the anticipated crowd, the organisers have extended the festival to two days. On the first day, the concert will feature local DJs Sheron, Zrinz and Sue, as well as the official Coldplay tribute band, Live in Technicolor, headlining Friday’s festivities. The evening will conclude with the popular Maltese DJ, DJ Ziggy, offering a diverse selection of music sure to please many young attendees.
The second day caters to a more mature audience, with a focus on music from past eras. On Saturday 3rd August, the Kirkop Summer Fest will host another official tribute band, this time for the legendary Beatles, named The Fab 4. Joining them will be DJs Alex Tonna and Alex Reflex Grech, with DJ Ryan Spiteri closing the festival.
These captivating elements are sure to leave a lasting impression on all attendees. Therefore, on Friday 2nd August and Saturday 3rd August, from 8pm onwards at the parking area of the San Benedittu College Secondary School, be a part of the Kirkop Summer Festival.
Both events of the Kirkop Summer Fest are free, with volunteers from Inspire collecting donations at the entrance to support their noble cause.
Inspire specialises in aiding those on the autism spectrum, individuals with profound learning difficulties and those with challenging behaviour.
