Festa Lwien Is Lighting Up Ta’ Qali With Music, Food And Family Fun

Festa Lwien is back, bringing colour, culture and a whole lot of good vibes to the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village.
Happening on Friday 8th August from 6.30pm to 11pm, this vibrant summer celebration blends everything we love about Maltese feasts. From local crafts and traditional food to live music and entertainment for all ages.
And yes, entry is completely free.
This year’s headline act? Red Electric will be lighting up the main stage with a full concert between 9:15pm and 10:45pm, blasting out their biggest bangers in true festa style.
But the fun kicks off much earlier. Tikka Banda will be parading through the village from 6:30pm with their signature brass marches, while Tal-Fuklar Folk Group will bring a touch of old-school folk charm later in the evening.
Expect food galore: pizza, pasta, burgers, ciabattas, coffee, nougat, sweets and all the ice cream you need to beat the heat.
Kids are in for a treat too. Think face painting, bouncy castles, trampolines, train rides, quad bikes: the works.
With festive lights, artisan stalls, and a buzzing village atmosphere, this is your sign to soak up some Maltese summer magic.
This event is being organised by the Malta Crafts Foundation. For more info, head to www.maltacrafts.org or check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
