Festive Family Comedy ‘Carols At Christmas’ Returns To Teatru Manoel
A festive dose of laughter is heading to Valletta as Teatru Manoel’s TOI TOI programme celebrates its fifteenth season with a brand new run of its hit Christmas comedy Carols at Christmas.
Known for creating high-quality, accessible productions for families, TOI TOI is once again bringing parents and children together for participatory theatre filled with puppetry, music, movement and plenty of festive chaos.
This year, audiences will be reunited with three bold, unapologetically dramatic stars: Carol Żfin, Carol Drammatiku, and Carol Kanzunetta, three performers with one mission… to steal the spotlight at all costs.
Written and directed by TOI TOI Collective Director Petra Sant, the show features talented stage performers Kyra Lautier, Kelly Peplow and Emma Chetcuti, promising another year of giggles, catchy singalongs, and heartwarming moments.
TOI TOI Manager Kate Fenech Field, who produces the theatre’s educational output, said the team’s long-term strategy is built around creating repeatable shows with strong educational value.
“We’ve made it our mission to build a stealthily educational repertoire,” she explained.
“With Carols at Christmas, children learn about rejection, determination, traditions and teamwork, all wrapped up in seasonal fun.”
Carols at Christmas runs from 13th to 20th December at the Teatru Manoel Studio Theatre.
