After years of continued success, the Kirkop Summer Fest is back for its eighth edition and this time with a special programme. Organised by K Music Events, this festival has earned a place in the cultural calendar and will feature two evenings of popular music.

In collaboration with the Ħal Kirkop Local Council, the festival will take place in the car park of San Benedittu College (Middle School) on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July. Entry is free, but the experience promises to be unforgettable.

“Events like Kirkop Summer Fest don’t happen by chance or on their own, they are the result of dedication and a love for the community. Ħal Kirkop is now a shining example of how a locality can become a centre of vibrant and dynamic culture. Well done to the organisers and the volunteers who devote so much of their time all year round,” The Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government, Owen Bonnici.

On Friday 4th July, DJs Sheron and Zrinz will kick off the evening, followed by a live performance from Jeff Dingle, officially recognised as the UK’s top Bruno Mars tribute artist. The night will close with a set by DJ Sue, one of the most respected and beloved names on the local scene.

On Saturday 5th July, the spotlight falls on Radio Active, an outstanding tribute band to Imagine Dragons. The night continues with DJ sets from Alex Tonna and Ryan Spiteri.

Although admission is free, volunteers from the Inspire Foundation will be present to collect donations.
