ŻiguŻajg Arts Festival for Children and Young People 2022 Is Back

The 12th edition of ŻiguŻajg Arts Festival for Children and Young People kicks off this weekend.
The festival will include productions involving theatre, dance, as well as visual arts and musicals, creating a variety of artforms that appeal to everyone.
ŻiguŻajg is split into 5 categories: Age 0-4, Age 5-10, Age 11+, Malta Book Festival and Sensory Friendly.
The different shows will be held at different theatres in Valletta and some also online. You can see the full programme here.
“Art should play a crucial role in children’s education and personal development. Thanks to ŻiguŻajg youths are being given access to this.” Patron of ŻiguŻajg, Dr Lydia Abela said.

“ŻiguŻajg exposes today’s generation to the beauty of art, but it also has an impact on a mental, emotional, and educational level.” Minister for Arts, Owen Bonnici added.
