Whether you’re a solo artist, a design studio, or a creative crafting unique pieces, designMT wants to see what you’ve got.

Back for its second edition, designMT, Malta’s leading design expo, has officially opened its call for exhibitors.

This year’s event will take place from 29th September to 4th October across various iconic locations in Valletta.

Designers working in any field, from product and industrial design to contemporary crafts and experimental installations are being invited to submit proposals that reflect the best of modern creativity, where tradition meets innovation.

Those interested in exhibiting must submit their proposals by Monday 12th May via email to [email protected], following the submission guidelines outlined on the designMT website.

Building on Last Year’s Success

The first edition of designMT saw forty exhibitors showcase their work across four different venues in Valletta, including Auberge d’Aragon, Fortress Builders, St John’s Cavalier, and the Valletta Design Cluster.

From thought-provoking installations to functional design, the event highlighted a growing appetite for innovation within Malta’s creative community.

More Than An Exhibition

This year’s designMT promises more than just static displays. The programme will include a series of thematic events and discussions focused on how design is influencing contemporary life and shaping the way we live, work, and connect.

Industry professionals, creatives, and stakeholders will also be invited to engage in meaningful dialogue throughout the event.

designMT 2025 is organised by the Malta Crafts Foundation in collaboration with Golden Glitch, with support from Arts Council Malta, Spazju Kreattiv, and the Valletta Cultural Agency, with more partners to be announced soon.

So if you’ve got a bold idea, a meaningful concept, or a beautiful design that deserves to be seen, this is your moment.
