The ideal candidates for the Trusted Tutors team are:
- Individuals with experience in a private education institute, familiar with the ins-and-outs of running a business in this industry, and ready to join on a full-time basis.
- Recent graduates interested in a full-time opportunity or paid internship to contribute to the transformation of a start-up into a fully-fledged company.
- Professionals looking for a change in industry, with a passion for education.
- Graduates who are unsure of their career path and would like to gain experience through a 3-month summer internship.
Roles and responsibilities will be discussed and assigned depending on each candidate’s background and skills, so do not hesitate to apply even if you’re not confident in certain areas.
Trusted Tutors values the unique qualities each person brings to the table, and they’ll work together to assign responsibilities to the most suitable team members.
Potential roles might include issuing invoices, scheduling meetings, corresponding with potential tutors and students, conducting interviews, assisting in company-wide digitalisation, and liaising with HR departments regarding internal training programs.
Although not required, candidates with experience in the education industry would have an advantage, as they will grasp the company’s processes more easily.
Similarly, having qualifications or skills in the digital space would be of great value, as Trusted Tutors is presently transforming its business operations into a digital platform.
Familiarity with the Maltese language is also beneficial but not necessary, as they are open to diverse candidates.
Basic requirements for joining the Trusted Tutors team include excellent communication skills, being organised, good at time management, being able to work independently, having knowledge of Google Drive and social media platforms, and excellent professional writing skills in English (and Maltese, if possible).
