Welcome to the Lovin Malta Epic Foodie Competition by Lovin Recommends 2022 (“the Competition”) terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). These Terms and Conditions will inform you about the rules and procedures relating to the Competition.
The Competition will reward one Lovin Malta follower from Facebook OR Instagram who:
- gets drawn through a randomiser after a submission period via tagging on a Facebook post or Instagram post between 20th April 2022 and 25th April 12:00 CEST; and then subsequently
- becomes the overall winner of a series of rounds in a quiz format.
The first-place prize will include a meal for two, voucher, or similar equivalent from all participating restaurants.
The public is being invited to submit their comments for the Facebook post AND/OR Instagram post once they become available on April 20th 2022, and adhere to all other instructions including:
- following Lovin Malta on the respective platforms
- liking the respective posts
- tagging at least one person
- sharing the post to their feed or story
You (the “user”) can submit as many comments as you like.
Entrants to the competition must be:
- 17+
- A legal resident of the Maltese islands.
Once the initial stage of commenting between 20-25 April 2022 has closed, Lovin Malta will proceed to shortlist 4 finalists via a randomiser, and then release the
shortlisted finalists on this website and other social media outlets.
The selected users will be approached with terms on what the next phase of the Competition will involve and will be asked to sign a form confirming commitment to the Competition, should they win. Failure to do so will result in their forfeiting of their finalist position and allows Lovin Malta to pick a different finalist altogether.
The finalist mechanism is fully attributed to a third-party randomiser with no ties to Lovin Malta Ltd. Therefore, for the avoidance of doubt, Lovin
Malta shall not be responsible for the draw of the finalists.
The final winner will be chosen by the Lovin Malta team via a series of quiz questions and challenges.
The winner of the final round will be the finalist who managed to survive the most rounds of the quiz.
Winners will be announced via an online video that will be filmed and arranged by Lovin Malta, and aired primarily via the Lovin Malta Facebook page (and other relevant social media channels) between April-May 2022.
All information we collect via the comments and finalist forms must be filled
in correctly. Any information submitted to Lovin Malta will be treated in compliance with all applicable data protection legislation. In this respect, you may view Lovin Malta’s Privacy Policy hereunder.
Current employees of Lovin Malta Ltd., as well as their partners/spouses, first- and second-degree relatives, will not be eligible for consideration in the Competition.
These Terms and Conditions pertain only to Lovin Malta Ltd., and do not pertain to nor do they assume to be knowledgeable of limitations and other terms and conditions imposed by the respective restaurants participating in this Competition.
