‘I’m Worried That A Two-State Solution Is Further Away Than Before’: Watch Lovin Malta’s Full Interview With Roberta Metsola
Roberta Metsola was re-elected as European Parliament President in a historic election where she received the most votes any EP President has ever gotten, and amid the chaos, Lovin Malta’s Ana Tortell got to speak with her for a couple of minutes.
During this interview, Metsola touched upon a number of things including the incredible result, the relationship between the UK and the EU, and the crisis in Gaza.
Metsola reiterated the EU’s unwavering support of Ukraine but stated that she’s worried that a possibility for a two-state solution between Israel and Gaza may be further away than before.
On a more positive note, Metsola beamed when asked about the United Kingdom saying that she always hopes that the country will one day rejoin the EU.
