Gżira Mayor Conrad Borg Manché, formerly with Labour, is contesting the MEP elections as an independent candidate
Borg Manché announced his resignation from the PL administration on 8th October when he stated that he is “not a yes man”.

When asked about his campaign, Borg Manché stated he will focus on education, family rights and address pressing issues on a country and European level.
Borg Manché also had a message to the public for those who might be on the fence about voting.
“If you don’t want to vote you are basically saying I am not capable of giving my opinion and I am leaving it up to others to do it for me.”
