Independent candidate for the European Parliament Arnold Cassola has officially launched his campaign video titled “Issa ċ-Ċans!”
The video was released yesterday, featuring a host of well-known Maltese personalities who endorse Cassola’s vision for Malta’s future.
Among the prominent figures appearing in the clip are acclaimed author Immanuel Mifsud, economist Marie Briguglio, Djun frontman Justin Galea, renowned artist Johanna Barthet, journalist Sasha Vella and University of Malta senior lecturer Claire Azzopardi Lane.
Each personality speaks to different aspects of Cassola’s platform, highlighting his commitment to various social, economic, and cultural issues.
“In a time of great disillusionment with Malta’s current political class, Cassola is pitching himself as the ideal independent candidate to herald a cessation of the two party monopoly,” a statement by his team reads.
Cassola’s campaign has been rapidly gaining momentum, with a significant number of volunteers joining his team in the past week alone. This surge in support underscores the growing enthusiasm for his bid to secure a seat in the EP.
His manifesto boasts a number of policy proposals aimed at cleaning the environment, strengthening governance and rule of law, and reforming the economic model to serve the people.
