Watch: PL MEP Thomas Bajada Votes In Favour Of Roberta Metsola

PL MEP Thomas Bajada has told Lovin Malta that he voted in favour of Roberta Metsola becoming European Parliament President.

While sitting on a park bench in Strasbourg, Bajada explained that he believes that Maltese people have the responsibility to push one another to high positions, helping the island remain at the forefront.

When asked about his opinion on the choices of his fellow PL MEPs Alex Agius Saliba and Daniel Attard to abstain from the vote, Bajada explained that they’re entitled to their opinions, votes, and positions.

He explained that they had lengthy discussions about voting intentions but maintained that they have a right to vote the way they see fit.
