11 Awesome Aljotta Soups In Malta And Where To Get Them From

My throat is killing me today. I don’t know if it’s due to the inconsistency of the weather or the fact that there are a whole load of germs going round… but I know for a fact that I am coming down with a cold.
The first thing I craved this morning was a soup. A seafood soup. A Maltese seafood soup. And then I got to thinking… I might as well write about the places that serve up a mean bowl of aljotta!
Here goes (and here’s hoping we all get well soon ahead of spring).
1. Palazzo Preca, Valletta

Slurp!
2. Gululu, St Julian’s
Sticks to the ribs and comes with rice to make it that much heartier.
3. One80 Kitchen & Lounge, Mellie?a

I could sip this all day. It’ll last longer that way anyway!
4. Maestrale Gourmet, M?arr
I sea soup and I eat it!
5. Capistrano, Valletta
Tasty and homemade.
6. Rebekah’s, Mellie?a

Hallelujah for aljotta!
7. Nenu the Artisan Baker, Valletta
