After recently moving office to Naxxar, we were exited to find so many places to grab something to eat in the area. In alphabetical order, here are 11 great places you need to visit if you’re craving anything from a multiple-course meal to a great cheese platter.

Local DJ Steve Caeser had opened this Naxxar lounge with the hopes of creating a pre-clubbing venue with good music and good food. Years later, the dream is still very much alive, and Caesar’s House is now a staple chic place to get a quick delicious bite.
Photos of dishes at CarneVino have become a mouthwatering hall of fame, and with the excellent reviews it’s been getting, it’s easy to understand how this restaurant has gone from the new kid on the block to one of Naxxar’s most hyped over the last year.
Cellini is mainly a wine bar, but don’t let that fool you into overlooking their food menu. Serving up anything from your typical great platters to go with your favourite glass to some mouth-watering plates of pasta, Cellini is as central Naxxar as they get, standing a couple of metres away from the parish church.

Crème Café was born from the ambitious search for the ultimate cup of coffee. Located within the quaint Yorkdale bookshop, Crème Café also offers some mouthwatering superfood and a whole list of vegan dishes that are the best snacks in between book-hunting.
Sure, you can get a delicious plate of home-made soup or grilled halloumi that are sure to satisfy you, but with a place like Flora’s, you’re best off following your sweet tooth.
The Luna is Palazzo Parisio’s daytime restaurant, and the place to be if you’re looking for a touch of class with your food. The seasonal menus are predominantly Italian, but they also have some Maltese and international classic on offer.
Famously one of the best places to try rabbit in Malta, Marley’s gets bonus points for being an amazing place to try traditional Maltese food without having to go all the way up to more faraway villages like Mġarr.
9. Ta’ Stringi
A legendary restaurant housed in a 450 year old palazzo, Ta’ Stringi has some of the chunkiest pizzas on the island. And with cheesy crusts that seem to defy gravity, this is one of those places that will have you wanting to go back for more.
10. The Fort Cafe
The epitome of a lunch break snack, taken to a whole new level. Located within the Hard Rock Industrial Park in the limits of Naxxar, The Fort Cafe has daily specials that change on a weekly basis, to make work that much more exciting.
Opened in 2014, YUE Bistro is your destination for everything healthy and photogenic. Their menu is very vast, and the Munchies trademark is a definite seal of approval when it comes to quality.
