Chinese food is so varied; countless regions of China have their own styles and specific dishes, and the food is so comforting, tasty and filling (when done well).

Malta has some decent Chinese restaurants, but we can’t vouch on all of them being consistent. So rather than talking about the restaurants themselves, we’ll give you a really handy list of all the great Chinese dishes we’ve tried and tested (or are planning on trying because of the rave reviews). And they’re not all from exclusively Chinese restaurants FYI.

So let’s begin.

Hong Kong is famed for its restaurants showcasing BBQ roasted whole ducks hanging in their front window and that’s the kind we like! Okurama unexpectedly do really authentic roast pork and roast duck – Hong Kong style. Their BBQ sauce is sweet and we suggest to eat it with rice.

Also, the portions are huge.
