7 Delicious Dishes That Have Just Launched At Some Of Malta’s Favourite Restaurants
It’s a new year, it’s now even a new month, so it makes sense that Malta’s restaurants are tweaking and adding to their menus.
We’ve been stalking restaurants to see if any have new dishes on their menu, and here are just some that have caught our eye.
1. Chimichanga at Avotaco, Ta’ Xbiex
Mexican joint Avotaco have just launched chimichangas to their badass menu. This popular tex-tex dish is deep fried burrito and you can get them there filled with pork carnitas or chicken!
2. New pasta dishes at L’artiglio, Valletta
L’artiglio’s dinner menu changes on the daily, but they have new pasta dishes on their lunch menu that look as good as they taste.
3. Pulled burgers at Becky’s Cafe & Kitchen, Naxxar
Three new burgers with pulled meat have arrived on Becky’s menu! These include a chicken version, a pork and a rabbit.
4. Battered hake at Sea Salt, Sliema
Dipped with homemade batter and really good homemade chips!
5. Ramen at Emma’s Kitchen, San Ġwann
We can never get enough of ramen, and this bowl features Tonkotsu broth, Chashu pork, soft egg, shiitake mushrooms, noodles, scallions!
6. New pizza at Pulċinella, Ħamrun
One of the best pizzerias on the island have just launched a chicken Caesar pizza. Yes, you read that right!
7. Fried artichoke at Fat Louie’s, St Julian’s
How can something be so healthy yet so decadent too? Well, this artichoke comes in the form of a fried artichoke with anchovy aïoli.
It’s a special that’s currently available for lunch and dinner.
