We love a good ol’ bowl of nachos!

A proper portion of nachos fully loaded with fresh toppings is soul-warming and satisfying as hell. In fact, it could definitely fix a bad day (well at least it does for me anyway).

Here are some joints where you can eat a platter of the crispy tex-mex favourite.

All you have to do is decide whether you want to share them or not…

1. Tex Mex South / Tex Mex Bar & Grill

Marsaxlokk, Sliema

Both Tex Mex branches give you two options: The Tex mex Nachos (smothered with melted cheese, cheese sauce, ranchero sauce, refried beans, sliced jalapeño peppers, pico de gallo, guacamole and a sour cream & chive dressing) or the Tex Mex Nachos Supreme (same as Tex Mex Nachos but with either chili con carne, spicy pulled pork or smoked pulled Chicken in Kentucky Sauce.

2. Native Bar, St Julian’s

Native offers not one but three kinds of nacho plates.

Native nachos: melted Jack cheese and fresh salsa, topped with Jalapeños.

Nachos deluxe: Same as the above with the addition of Guacamole, sour cream and black olives.

Nachos chili con carne: melted Jack cheese, jalapeños, chili con carne and spring onions!

Plus you get 50% off these bad boys everyday from 6pm-7.30pm

3. Hard Rock Cafe

St Julians, Malta International Airport, Valletta

A mountain of tortilla chips layered with three bean mix, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, pico de gallo, jalapeños and green onions and garnished with sour cream.

Add some guacamole, grilled chicken, or pulled pork for that little extra.

4. Caesar’s House, Naxxar

Jalapeños laying on a bed of tortilla chips doused with gauc, sour cream cheese and salsa is what Caesar’s House is offering for nachos!

5. Avotaco, Ta’ Xbiex

Avotaco’s fully loaded nachos consist of homemade nacho chips, guac, beans, fresh salsa, house blend cheese, cilantro cream, onions, lime and cilantro to top!

6. Mojitos Beach Terrace, Mellieħa

People have been raving about the nachos at Mojitos Beach Terrace and it’s not hard to see why.

Here you’ll get vegan nachos with fried corn tortilla served with spicy bean salad, pico de gallo and guacamole for €7 (you can add cheese for an extra €1)

7. Hungry Cow, St Paul’s Bay

€6 at Hungry Cow will get you nachos with jalapeños, sour cream, chilli con carne, guacamole and melted cheddar cheese.
