We’re obsessed with ceviche! Peru’s national dish of raw marinated fish is citrusy, refreshing and really packs a punch.

We searched far and wide to find places in Malta where you can find ceviche, and here they are. Happy hunting!

1. Machu Picchu, Sliema

Malta’s first fully-fledged Peruvian restaurant opened a few months ago bringing some seriously good authentic mixed seafood ceviche. The portions are huge!

2. In.Fame, Valletta

In.Fame’s ceviche is one of their most popular starters. It consists of raw fish, lime juice, red onion, coriander, sweet potatoes and fried cancha.

3. Buddhamann, St Julian’s

This fancy seabass ceviche dish from Buddhamann has green apple notes, pickled shallots, mango chutney and infused coriander oil. Mmm!

A delicious and delicate fresh fish ceviche is served at Charles Grech.

7. Lore & Fitch, St Julian’s

The ceviche at Lore & Fitch features raw Scottona beef with fresh chili, mustard seeds, raw bell pepper, chives, shallot, avocado and lime juice.

8. Zion Raggae bar, Marsascala

This awesome reggae bar in the south serves ceviche with raw seabass on avocados, spring onions and fresh chillies.
