Beloved Indian restaurant Garam Masalaa is closing its doors after 20 years of service in Buġibba.

“It is with a heavy heart and gratitude that we announce Garam Masalaa will be closing its doors on 30th of June 2024. This has been an emotional and difficult decision and we are sad to say goodbye after 20 years. We have decided to finally retire, and move on to the next adventure, whatever that might be,” the establishment wrote on social media.

Owners Sunil and Katherine thanked their staff – past and present – families and clientele.

“Whether you’ve been dining with us for years or just found us now, we give immeasurable thanks for your loyalty and support. You are the direct reason for our success and we are truly humbled and honoured to have served you. Garam Masalaa was like a second home for us, and you became our extended family.”

“What an incredible journey it has been! We will miss you all very much.”
