One of Malta’s most popular fast food joints has been completely transformed into a bistro, and your NYC-inspired cravings in Sliema will never be the same again.
Launching in a soft opening last night, local burger giants New York Best announced that their Sliema outlet has been flipped, now featuring full service and boasting an interior changed from the no-fuss but trendy aesthetic into a stylish bistro that respects their roots.
“NYB all grown up,” the eatery announced, sharing a photo of restauranteur Nicholas Diacono in front of the newly redesigned bistro (including a slightly redesigned, sleeker logo).
“This is a venture we’ve been working on in secret for a while,” Nicholas explained on Facebook, with his foodie brother-in-arms Tommy going on to say he was proud of his younger brother’s new venture.
With NYB classics like the New Orleans Burger still on the menu, the bistro serves anything from homemade ravioli and fillets to pizza and Korean style barbecue wings, no doubt taking some cues from sister-eatery Fat Louie’s
Through the help of the Diacono brothers’ father, New York Best Bistro is looking to create an experience that moves away from their fast-food past and that everyone can enjoy in a more refined way.
