If there’s one quick-fire way to judge food places in Malta, it’s by the cut of their meat.  

Analysing burgers is our way of natural selection; we want them juicy, and we want them now. We’re being a bit nasty with this one, and giving you our list of burger joints we currently don’t have around, but we’d be more than happy to welcome them here. Enjoy.

‘Serving wild live lobster and corn fed Nebraskan beef burgers since 2011’, or so their motto goes. Who wouldn’t want to try a juicy burger filled with delicious lobster anyway?

Originated in the USA, this franchise quickly spread around the world. Offering proper and typical American style burgers and fries . It’s not the healthiest food around, but why would you be looking for that in a burger joint?

3. In-N-Out Burger

Get in, sit your ass down, eat their old fashioned burgers, and get out.  

One of the oldest, most popular burger joints around especially in the US. This joint is actually credited for the drive-through idea, and with its timeless, tasty burgers, we can only hope it finds its way to our island.

4. Patty and Bun

Rivalling the biggest fast food burger joints around, Patty and Bun has set a name for itself as it continually grows year after year. 

It’s the place you always see on your Maltese friends’ Instagram story when they’re abroad, and with good reason. Please come visit us.

We’re just going to list the things this burger joint offers, then you can make your own decision.

US traditional styled burgers, cocktails, chicken wings, loud music and graffiti decor. Yeah, Meatliquour joints are lit.

6. Shake Shack

Starting off through humble beginnings as a hot dog stand in Madison Square Park in 2001, this franchise quickly grew into a burger monster. With over 168 Shake Shacks throughout the world, this place offers its customers amazing burgers, crinkle cut fries, and maybe most importantly its shake swag.

7. Carl’s J

Burgers like McDonalds, fries like Burger King. 

Carl’s Jr is a big boy in the burger fast food industry. It has over 1,490 stores, with unfortunately none of them in Malta.  

With fans who swear by it, along with its financial growth, this franchise would do well to come here and give us a taste of those sweet sweet fries.
