Dangerous Bacteria Found In Shrimp Sandwich, Environmental Health Directorate Warns

The Environmental Health Directorate informed the public that Tre Mulini’s sandwich stuffed with shrimp, cocktail sauce and vegetables must not be consumed due to high levels of Clostridium.

The Directorate has asked the public not to consume this sandwich from lots 000128, 134378, 000150, 000157, 000129, 135798 and 000156. These lots have the following Best Before dates:  11th July, 13th June,18th June, 19th June, 4th July and 10th July.

For further information, the directorate invited the public to contact the Environmental Health Services on 21337333 or via email on [email protected]

The Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health issued this notice in accordance with the Food Safety and Regulation (EC) No. 178 of 2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
