A Very British Pub Is Opening In Malta’s Capital Later This Month
We barely have the time to brush our hair in the morning, so we don’t know how Daniel Grech manages to run one million and one restaurants a week.
And although it has been in the pipeline for a while, the team behind the Queen Victoria Pub have officially announced that their new venture in Valletta will be opening at the end of March, with Grech heading the kitchen and adding his signature style.
Grech has promised that the Queen Victoria Pub will be a proper British pub, boasting a Victorian style with stained glass and copper furnishings.
The kitchen will include local pub food with a proper British feel. Expect ale battered fish and chips, and local homemade pies – including rabbit pie, steak and kidney pie, and turkey and chutney pie.
There will also be 21 different beers on draft including cask ales and a single malt and gin bar to help you wash down your meal.
