Dream Team Behind Popular Salini Restaurant Launch A Sexy New Italian Eatery In Valletta

Michael & Chris Diacono, the duo behind Giuseppi’s in Naxxar, together with Chef Ryan Vella, have just given birth to a new baby in the form of a fancy Italian eatery.

Located in Valletta within the luxurious walls of Domus Zamittello hotel, Mezzodi is practically interior erotica without being pretentious. They want guests to dine in a relaxed atmosphere, and it sure looks the part.

On the menu, you’ll find classic Italian dishes which they certainly make their own.

1. Sleek starters

The starter/antipasti list is pretty long and includes small plates such as stracciatella cheese with caviar, crudo di manzo and braised artichoke hearts.

2. Popular pastas

Spaghetti chitarra cacio e pepe (the classic spaghetti dish with Pecorino cheese and black pepper), lamb ravioli and gnocchi Romana, are just some of the dishes you’ll find on the menu’s pasta section.

3. Mouthwatering mains

You’ll find plenty of fish and meat dishes that’s sure to impress even the pickiest eaters.

Delights include braised oxtail, pan-fried veal escalopes, breaded quail, calamari stuffed with breadcrumbs, eggs and raisins and more.
