Ħamrun reminded the rest of Malta that they are the kings of chocolate this weekend by hosting an incredible chocolate festival.

More than just a festival with chocolate products, the festival brought some of Malta’s top chefs and culinary artists together to create beautiful edible structures – all made out of chocolate.

And of course, there were endless varieties of chocolates for everyone to try out.

Benna even set up a stall with a chef Emmanuel Aquilina creating some beautiful Maltese desserts, such as kannoli (both normal as well as lactose-free) and Maltese souffle’.

There were even some incredibly chocalicious takes on some classic Maltese dishes, like some beautiful deep-fried imqaret covered in a tantalising layer of chocolate and candy.
