Clear Your Schedule – Ħamrun Is Hosting A Chocolate Festival Tomorrow!
Now in it’s eighth edition, past Ħamrun Chocolate Festivals have seen one hell of a lot of chocolately goodness.
Featuring chocolate sculptures of anything from pirate ships to Elvis Presley, and menu items like Bananutella Sundae, which, fyi is “Nutella ice-cream and banana slices topped with luxury milky ice-cream”, this Saturday’s fiesta is the perfect place for chocolate lovers.
The event, hosted by Ħamrun Local Council, is also set to feature locally sourced ingredients and independent Maltese chocolatiers, such as Desirably Yours, who are promising limited-edition white chocolate pralines filled with a locally produced passion fruit jam
The more environmentally conscious may want to look out for the Core Green stall which will be selling Fairtrade and organic award-winning vegan chocolates.
You also don’t want to miss Grupp Armar’s posh chocolatey crepes!
If you’re heading down to Ħamrun tomorrow, bear in mind going by car might not be the best option. Parking slots are limited but buses are regular to central Ħamrun, so there’s that!
The event starts on the 22nd October at St. Joseph High Street Ħamrun and surrounding streets from 7pm onwards.
