A new Starbucks is set to open in the Tunny Net area of Mellieħa in a couple of days’ time, meaning you’ll soon be able to chill on Għadira beach and enjoy a summer afternoon with one of their famous Frappuccinos as of Saturday.

The coffee giant only opened its first outlet in Malta at the start of June, and it seems the mega-franchise is pushing hard to get an even bigger foothold in the market.

The global chain, which was brought down to Malta by db Group, is already showing strong signs of success in Malta, with photos of long queues at the Valletta Waterfront outlet already emerging.
