Whose Pastizz Do You Want To Try?! Sphinx Will Actually Sell Either Jacqui Or Sabrina’s Culinary Creation For 2023’s Final Week
You know it’s going to be a good time when Lovin Malta and Sphinx Pastizzeria get together for a culinary collaboration. But now, we’re taking things one step further and bringing a brand new pastizz to Malta for one week only!
Last month, we brought you Show Me Your Pastizz, a new collaborative show where we invited four guests to create their own unique take on the islands’ icon snack. Then, we asked you to vote on your favourite. Simple, right?
We had Sarah Grech and her affectionately named Marlon and Johnathan Cilia‘s high-protein Brazilian, but by the end, only two came out on top.

Jacqui went with Tinizzi, bringing in goat cheese and figs for a truly unique take on the traditional pastizz, with Vinu giving it a very generous 8/10.
Sabrina, meanwhile, took the festive cheer all the way up to 11, offering Il-Pastizz tal-Milied. The ingredients? Brie, walnuts, fresh rosemary and cranberry sauce. Have a merry, merry Christmas.
But while they’re all incredible individual takes on pastizzi which you won’t see anywhere else, there can only be one winner. The good news? You’ll soon be able to taste that winner!
That’s right – help us choose which pastizz reigns supreme from these two, and Sphinx will add it to their roster across their outlets for the last week of 2023, starting on Christmas Day. Yes, really.
