As the Guide celebrates its 25th year, the Malta’s Best Restaurants Awards Ceremony 2024 – fondly considered the “Oscars” of the Maltese dining scene – will take place on Monday 9th December 9th at The Xara Lodge.

At this glittering event, the latest edition of the Guide will be launched, reflecting the feedback of over 3,951 survey participants who collectively documented 331,855 dining experiences across Malta and Gozo.

Each year, this survey-driven guide serves as a reference point for locals and tourists seeking the best culinary experiences.

Awards will span numerous categories, including Best Food sponsored by American Express, Best Ambience courtesy of restaurantsmalta.com, and Best Maltese Food Restaurant sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority.

Additional highlights include the Best Chef Award, the Top Rated Children-Friendly Award from Malta Baby & Kids Directory, and the prestigious Colin Best Award for Top Overall Restaurant.

With awards like Best Local Fish Restaurant, Most Dedicated to Using Local Produce, and many more, the ceremony not only honours individual restaurants and chefs but also celebrates the exceptional dining culture in Malta.

Stay tuned as Malta’s finest in food and service take the stage for this year’s awards.
