Hey KFC, We Really Need Those New Chicken Skin Fries Of Yours To Come To Malta. Pretty Please?
For better or worse, the fast food industry is known for being very inventive with a lot of the products they produce, especially when it comes to regional branches (Burger King Japan’s black burgers or a McDonald’s lobster roll in a hot dog bun in Italy, anyone?). But it’s KFC’s latest monster that has us insanely intrigued.
One of fried chicken’s favourite homes, KFC captured the hearts and taste buds of foodies worldwide last week with their new Chicken Skin Fries
Yes. Chicken Skin. Fries.

The creation first appeared on KFC’s Indonesian Twitter account, and for those of you who aren’t fluent in Indonesian, a totally helpful Google Translate session will tell you that “the crispness of your KFC chicken skin will already know like what?” and if that doesn’t make your stomach growl, nothing will!
Last week, The Sun had reported that the Chicken Skin Fries actually follow in the footsteps of the Philippines’ ‘Crackling’s test run.
While a few people have had their reservations about the fries, the general consensus of the internet has been “OMFG GIMME!”. And quite frankly, we’re on the same boat
Unfortunately, for now there have been no plans to introduce the product in other countries, but if you think that’s going to stop us from trying our hardest you clearly haven’t met a hangry Maltese with a taste for meat.
So dear KFC, treat this as our official petition to bring the Chicken Skin Fries to Malta
The island needs it. We need it. We’re a country of foodies, and we deserve this. Please, we’re begging you. Chicken skins. In Malta. Make it happen.
