‘It’s Been A Rollercoaster’: Beloved Naxxar Gourmet Restaurant The Sixth Leaf Is Closing Its Doors
A beloved gourmet restaurant in Naxxar recently announced it will be closing down in the next month.
The Sixth Leaf, situated just at the bottom of Telgħa t’Alla W’Ommu, specialises in different creations, and beautiful, colourful plates – even focusing on vegan and vegetarian food.
The restaurant has also won awards, recently winning the 2023 award from The Definitely Good Guide for restaurants in Malta and Gozo. But now, it has just announced it won’t be around for much longer.
“With a heavy heart we have to announce that The Sixth Leaf will close down within a month. It has been a rollercoaster of an experience for all of us involved with highs and lows but one that we will cherish forever,” the owners said on social media.
“We would like to thank everyone that supported us and our business during this adventure, especially you, our clientele.”
“During this final month we decided to offer a final menu where we have put together ‘The Best of the Best’ we offered over the course of these two years based on the feedback we received from you!”
For the closing menu, all dishes are being offered at a special reduced price, as the owners hope to see as many visitors as possible to bid them farewell.
