Life Without Doughnuts Isn’t Worth It, So This Maltese Restaurant Is Making Sure Vegans Have A Reason To Go On

Suffering a life without doughnuts is no longer an acceptable situation to be in in 2018, and thankfully from now on vegans won’t need to endure this pain anymore.

Last week, popular vegetable-based restaurant The Grassy Hopper posted an Instagram photo showing its new range of vegan, gluten-free doughnuts. Can we get an amen?

Veganism can be extremely rewarding from an ethical standpoint, but losing out on certain desserts can weigh heavily on the soul which is why the Grassy Hopper makes sure to keep their vegan treats as tasty as possible to encourage more people to cut down on meat and dairy.

Currently being sold at Theobroma Cafe in Valletta, these doughnuts come in several varieties, some coated in chocolate, others covered in pistachio and berries.

It is important to note that while they are gluten-free, the restaurant points out that the flour is not coeliac-safe, but they are working to correct that.
