Renowned hangout Fat Harry’s just made a surprise announcement: they’re expanding their business into Malta’s capital city.

Their third outlet will be in Zachary Street, and is set to open mid-September.

Famed for their no-nonsense approach to fish and chips, as well as their interesting takes on pizza, they currently have two local venues situated in Bugibba and the Luqa airport.

With their sights now set on Valletta, customers can expect the same atmosphere they’d encounter in any Fat Harry’s outlet. With both establishments currently broadcasting Cricket World Cup fixtures, opening in the capital city is sure to attract a larger crowd of sports fans as well as burger aficionados.

The Valletta outlet will still play host to sporting and live music events.

The pubs also regularly host live music for local and foreign acts, bringing in a full house almost every night in the summer. Fat Harry’s signature pizza, topped with ham, egg and feta cheese is sure to be a hit with their new Valletta clientele.

We can’t wait to see what Fat Harry’s has to offer Valletta, but we’re sure it’s bound to be a huge success. They’re due to open their doors sometime in September this year but head to their Facebook page to keep up to date with how things are going.
