Being from the Maltese islands, Giovann is well-versed in the ways of Sicilian-inspired cuisine and the passion he puts in his work comes out in the feedback he’s received from top food critics and customers alike.

Under the guidance of celebrated chef Ben Tish, Giovann and his Norma staff have managed to carve their way into the London foodie scene since opening their doors in September, and it’s not only their food that has turned heads in the capital.

Norma’s Moorish influences is felt both in its food and decorum which are equally breathtaking and fairytale-like.

The Maltese influence isn’t just in the kitchen, it’s also at the bar.

Norma also a cocktail bar with drinks named after the various Mediterranean invasions that have taken place over the last few thousand years including ‘Malta’s Capture’, a whisky, limoncello, chin otto syrup, and wood smoke concoction.

With a Gozitan in the kitchen and a cuisine close to home,  Norma has all the elements to make any Maltese living in London feel at home!
