Malta’s Banger Achievement: Sausage Tower Breaks Record
Calling all sausage lovers! We’re sure you’d like this one.
The record for the highest Maltese Sausage Tower was just hit, with a height of 2.2 metres, the tower consisted of 315 sausages.
The tower weighed in at 67kg, with each sausage approximately 19cm long.
This comes just over a week after national Maltese Sausage day, the record was set during the Malta International Food Festival, in a joint effort with the London Butcher in Mosta.
We can’t seem to keep the Maltese Sausage off our minds this week, but this one’s a banger 😉
