WATCH: Maltese Brothers Build A 100 Kilo Pure Chocolate Santa, Because Why Not?
We get some pretty weird but wonderful stuff coming in our Lovin Malta inbox from time to time, and this is definitely one to add to the list!
Isaac Borg and his brother Keith Borg, who are both from Ta’ Xmun Caterers, have just created a stunning Father Christmas showpiece made entirely out of chocolate and weighing a whooping 100kg (try putting that in your stocking).
Taking to Facebook yesterday, Isaac showed off their glorious creation, also commenting on how great it was to have embarked on this project together with his brother.
We reached out to the brothers to get some more info on their giant Santa, and it turns out the prep-work was just as impressive
“It took 40 hours to make,” Isaac told Lovin Malta. “My brother tirelessly worked on after work, using 100 kilos of pure chocolate to construct it.”
“We started a tradition last year to have a showpiece in our outlet,” Isaac continued, showing off some of the brothers’ other beautiful festive creations.
