Marsovin Will Celebrate Their Centenary This December With A Mashup Of Maltese And Michelin-Star Menus

On the occassion of Marsovin’s 100th anniversary, two-Michelin-starred Italian chef Emanuele Scarello will prepare a decadent six-course dinner alongside Malta’s own Kevin Bonello at Mdina’s de Mondion restaurant.

Scarello’s restaurant, Agli Amici, won its first star in 2000.

In 2013, the establishment became the only one in the northern region of Udine to hold two stars under its belt.

It’s only natural, then, that de Mondion would play the part of the jewel on the crown upon Mdina’s five-star boutique hotel – The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux, where chef de cuisine Kevin Bonello is known for satisfying even the toughest of appetites with a little help from Malta’s finest ingredients.

Marsovin have organised a series of events throughout the year, culminating in this: a grand finale of a feast to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of December. 

Jeremy Cassar, great-grandson of Marsovin’s founder said of the event: “We wanted to end this year’s calendar of events with something exclusive, unlike any of the other events we have organised so far.”
