Malta’s MasterChef finalists cooked up a storm last week at a charity dinner hosted by the db Foundation at LOA in St Paul’s Bay, raising €12,460 for the Ursuline Sisters.

The culinary event attracted around 150 guests and raised an impressive amount for those dedicated to supporting children in need.

Guests were treated to a three-course menu prepared by MasterChef winner Nicolas Bezzina and finalists Ray George Cassar and David Camilleri Duca.

The menu featured an array of fusion dishes, including crispy pork skin with prawn tartare, sea bass ceviche with grapefruit, slow-cooked Iberico pork with bone marrow crumble, and a luscious orange bread pudding with coffee ice cream, all paired with a selection of fine wines.

All costs were covered by the db Group, ensuring that every cent raised went directly to the Ursuline Sisters.

“This was a great event showcasing the talent of Malta’s MasterChef finalists as well as the generosity of our amazing community. We are so proud to be able to create meaningful change in the lives of others. The Ursuline Sisters provide invaluable care to children, and we are delighted to be able to support their efforts,” chairperson of the db Foundation Sandra Sladden stated.
