An Indian restaurant led by a former MasterChef semi-finalist is opening up in Valletta continuing the wave of incredible eateries across the country’s capital city.

Setting up shop on Melita Street, Naan Bar is currently serving a special seven-course tasting menu for €30 as part of their soft launch. This launch is expected to run until Mother’s Day.

Naanbar’s Chef Swami Nandan has worked at critically acclaimed restaurants Noma and The Fat Duck. Being a semi-finalist at the Master Chef UK Professional 2011, his best recipes include the Pan Fried Sea Bass and Molecular Gastronomy.

While the restaurant’s a la carte menu remains a closely guarded secret, however it is believed to feature traditional cuisine, seasonal dishes and contemporary Indian gastronomy.
