Mobile Ordering And Pay: Food Made H-Appy
Sometimes the best meals happen spontaneously and sometimes you wake up in the morning with a craving that only one thing will fix.
Whatever mood you’re in, the newly launched Mobile Order and Pay functionality on the McDonald’s app allows you to place your order and pay directly and select a pick method of choice to chow down on your meal.
They have Counter collection for food to go, Table Service if you have the time to sit in and dine and Drive-Thru or Curbside for anyone enroute to somewhere else.
This added convenience offers customers freedom to order anywhere, giving you total control over when and how to collect your meals.
After logging into the app, you will automatically be directed to the nearest restaurant (assuming location services are enabled). If not, a map will show all the available restaurants that are available for pick up.
Everything is done through the app. From choosing your items, to selecting the preferred pick up & payment. Pick up options may vary by restaurant and time of day.
When choosing Table Service. Forget lining up at the front counter, just sit at the table, order from the app, choose table service as your pick-up option & the app will prompt you to enter the table number. After payment is done, simply wait for a crew member to serve your food directly to your table.
The Għargħur and MIA McDonald’s outlets are currently the only ones offering Curbside service. This means that customers can park in designated curbside parking spaces and have their order delivered to their car
Ordering ahead is available for Drive-Thru customers up to two hours before pick-up. Once you arrive at the Drive-Thru, share the order number through the ‘MyOrder’ tab to let the kitchen know you are ready to collect your food which is freshly prepared on the spot.
Payments are automatically processed through the app when you make the order, so no payment is required upon collection.
