Naxxar’s Iconic Charles Butcher Announces It Is Closing Its Doors After 70 Years
Charles Butcher, possibly one of Naxxar’s most iconic outlets, has announced it is closing its doors for good after 70 years.
The butcher is based in Victory Square in the centre of Naxxar and has passed through different generations.
However, in a Times of Malta print advert today, it announced it is closing down in mid-September because its owner is retiring.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our suppliers, friends, family and of course our loyal customers and employees for all their support over the years,” the butcher said, confirming that the business is now up for sale.
